Kay Boggs Photography is rooted in the beauty of everyday connection - the laughter, tenderness, and in-between moments that tell the story of your life.
With a soft, natural approach, each session is designed to feel calm and relaxed so your images reflect what matters most rather than forced perfection.
The result is a collection of photographs that feels honest, elevated, and lasting - images you will return to for years as your family grows and changes.
Sessions are located in the surrounding areas of Indianapolis. Between the apple orchards in Moorseville, the soft creeks in Plainfield, and tall grass in Greenwood, we pick the ideal spot to capture the moments that mean the most to you and your family.
Indoor studio sessions are done at my private studio located in Camby, IN. (Sessions include; Newborns, Studio Maternity, Cake smash, and Holidays)
Hi, I'm Kay—the photographer behind Kay Boggs Photography.
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, but life eventually brought me to Central Indiana, where I've built both my family and my business. While Indiana is home now, a piece of my heart will always belong to the mountains... and the beach. (Yes, I know those are two very different places!)
I'm married to my best friend, who is an airline pilot. Watching him chase his childhood dream and make it a reality has been one of my greatest inspirations. It reminds me every day that the dreams we have as kids really can become the life we live—if we're willing to work for them.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me cheering on my two boys at the baseball field. Travel baseball isn't always easy, and the weekends can be long, but there is nothing more rewarding than watching them grow—not just as athletes, but as young men. Those are the moments that remind me just how quickly time passes.
I'm also a huge sports fan, especially hockey. Fair warning: I usually have to watch games by myself because I get a little too invested. I live for a good cup of coffee, quiet mornings in my studio, time at the beach whenever I can escape, evenings with my dogs curled up nearby, and making memories with my family.
As a small business owner, I wear a lot of hats, but being a wife and a mom will always be my favorite role. Those experiences have shaped the way I photograph families. I understand how busy life becomes and how easy it is to put photos off until "next year."
That's why I'm so passionate about what I do.
Photography is about so much more than beautiful images. It's about preserving the laughter, the milestones, the chaos, the quiet hugs, and all of the little in-between moments that become the memories we hold onto forever. It is an honor to tell your story, and I can't wait to help you preserve this season of your life.
